The Science of Visual Design

Visual design is just as important as content in today’s learning and training environment. There is a science behind the art of graphic and visual design.

Using over twenty years of experience and passion in the fields of graphic and visual design, I take pride in knowing that what I create follows traditional, research-backed science as well as meeting current and modern design practices.

Creating and developing strong color palettes, associated font usage and typography, and having a firm understanding of how design enhances and enforces content are all important in today’s rapidly changing learning and development environment.

The examples here are some of my work – professional and personal – that have solidified my stance in today’s corporate training world. Being able to work with Clients and Customers of various levels, with little direction, is a skill that I have practiced and maintained since my days as a senior graphic designer in a large advertising environment.
