As a formal assignment in IDT610 - Advanced Instructional Design Technology II, a presentation was to be created. This was to further explain our answers in a previous week's assignment and then provide "lessons learned" about the ADDIE model. Additionally, all references must be included and styled in APA 7 format.
Reviewing the assignment for Week 1, research was done to support the initial response. Further research for supporting information on the ADDIE model was then done and all references copied for placement within the module. Additional models were researched briefly to include as a conclusionary statement to summarize the importance of following a structured process.
The design and development were done completely within Storyline 360. Techsmith's Assets for Camtasia and Content Library 360 were used for images and video while Wellsaid was used for narration.
The Instructor Fundamentals Course, scoped out to 11 months, was completed within 9 and rolled out for the initial Alpha Test Group Q4 2020. The Project consisted of 31 eLearning Modules, animation, audio, graphics, video, and voice over/narration. All supporting and supplemental materials outside of regulatory-provided documents, were built in-house and supplied directly within each applicable Module. By standardizing all Instructor training, FSI has reduced the number of NTS events (non-conforming training), with each event costing upwards of $25,000.
