IDT610 Project - Create a Presentation
Situation
As a formal assignment in IDT610 - Advanced Instructional Design Technology II, a presentation was to be created. This was to further explain our answers in a previous week's assignment and then provide "lessons learned" about the ADDIE model. Additionally, all references must be included and styled in APA 7 format.
Action
The design and development were done completely within Storyline 360. Techsmith's Assets for Camtasia and Content Library 360 were used for images and video while Wellsaid was used for narration.
Result
The Instructor Fundamentals Course was scoped out to 9 months and completed within 7 and rolled out for the initial Alpha Test Group Q4 2020. The Project comprised 31 eLearning Modules, animation, audio, graphics, video, and voice-over/narration. All supporting and supplemental materials outside of regulatory-provided documents, were built in-house and supplied directly within each applicable Module. By standardizing all Instructor training, FSI has reduced the number of NTS events (non-conforming training), with each event costing upwards of $25,000.
