For our formal assignment in IDT610 - Advanced Instructional Design Technology II, we were required to create a presentation.
This presentation aimed to further explain our responses from a previous week's assignment and to share our "lessons learned" regarding the ADDIE model. Additionally, all references had to be included and formatted according to APA 7 guidelines.
The design and development were done completely within Storyline 360.
Techsmith's Assets for Camtasia and Content Library 360 were used for images and video while Wellsaid was used for narration.
The Instructor Fundamentals Course was initially scheduled for 9 months but was completed in just 7 months. It was launched for the first Alpha Test Group in Q4 of 2020.
The project included 31 eLearning modules. All animations, audio, graphics, videos, and voice-overs/narrations were created using Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and Wellsaid Labs.
Additionally, all supporting and supplemental materials, apart from those provided by regulatory sources, were developed in-house and incorporated directly within each relevant module.
By standardizing all instructor training, FSI reduced the number of non-conforming training (NCT) events, which each cost over $25,000. The initial cost savings from this standardization amounted to more than $275,000.
